AI for industrial B2B
AI imagery for manufacturers,
as exact as the drawing
AI imagery for manufacturers shows machinery, plants and components in the context where they actually work, without stopping production for a photo shoot. We start from the CAD files, renders or photos you already have, build the setting with AI and have your engineers check every technical detail before delivery. DigitalX Studio is based in Bergamo, in the industrial district between Bergamo and Brescia, Italy.
In short
- Machinery and components in context: production line, workshop, job site
- Technical catalogs, trade-fair visuals, product videos under one direction
- Built from CAD, renders or existing photos, no machine downtime
- Every image checked by your engineering team before delivery
- Images from €20, video from €850, AI + CGI from €1,200
The problem
Why photographing machinery
is so hard
A machining center, a press or a packaging line doesn't go to a studio. Photographing one means stopping a department, cleaning up, lighting a huge space and often settling for a warehouse background. And when the machine is still a prototype, there's nothing to photograph at all.
With AI the machine stays where it is. We start from the CAD model or a clean photo and place it where it really works: a typical customer line, a workshop, a job site, a trade-fair stand. The same model produces views for the catalog, the website, LinkedIn and sales materials.
What we make
AI images and video
for industry
01
Machinery in context
The machine set in the line, department or site where it gets installed, with operators clearly disclosed as AI.
02
Components and technical still life
Valves, tools, fittings, control panels: clean, consistent still life across the range. See AI product photography.
03
Technical catalogs
Consistent views for print and digital catalogs, including part numbers that were never photographed.
04
Trade-fair visuals
Graphics for stands, totems, LED walls and invitations, ready before the machine reaches the fair.
05
Product videos and cutaways
The work cycle, the exploded view, the detail in motion. See AI and CGI product renders.
06
Corporate video
The company story for the website, trade fairs and recruiting. See AI corporate video.
Inputs
CAD, renders or photos:
where we start
| What you have | What we do with it | When it fits |
|---|---|---|
| CAD model (STEP, IGES, OBJ) | 3D render in Blender as the geometric base, then setting and light with AI | Prototypes, machines not yet built, exploded views |
| Existing renders | New contexts, more realistic materials, format variants | Established catalogs that need updating |
| Shop-floor or testing photos | Clean-up, new background, application context | Existing machines shot in difficult conditions |
| Only drawings and data sheets | Case by case: without a reliable visual reference the risk of error rises | Rarely, and we say so up front |
Geometry always comes from your reference, never from the AI model's imagination. It's the same principle we describe in product fidelity in AI images.
Technical accuracy
Every detail
checked by your engineers
01
Technical brief
We collect CAD, photos, data sheets and the details that can't be wrong: proportions, RAL colors, nameplates, guards, logo.
02
Approved storyboard
Settings, shots and use cases: marketing and engineering approve before generation.
03
Generation and comparison
Each image is compared with the reference. Whatever the AI gets wrong is fixed by hand or in CGI.
04
Technical review
Your engineers check the images before release: it's a step in the process, not an option.
05
Delivery
High resolution for print and trade fairs, web and social formats, video master and crops.
When AI isn't the right choice
If an image documents performance, certifications or the testing of a specific machine, you need a real photo. The same goes for user manuals and safety instructions: an invented detail there can cause a real problem. In those cases we'll tell you to shoot, and we can handle the post-production only.
Pricing and timing
How much does AI imagery
cost for a manufacturer
| Format | What's included | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Product and context images | Components and machinery in context, delivered in 5-10 working days | from €20 per image, dropping with volume |
| Product video 30-40" | 8-10 scenes, 9:16 or 16:9 master + crops | from €850 |
| AI + CGI video | 3D render in Blender from CAD, exploded and cutaway views | from €1,200 |
| Full catalogs and trade fairs | Volumes, formats and deadlines tailored | quoted per project |
You get an estimate within 1 working day. For a comparison with a traditional shoot read how much AI product photography costs, and for moving images see AI product video.
FAQ
Questions about AI imagery
for manufacturers
Can you create AI images of a machine from a CAD file?
Yes. The CAD becomes a 3D render in Blender that serves as the geometric base; AI then works on setting, light and materials. That way the proportions stay true to the design.
Are AI images accurate enough for a technical catalog?
They become accurate through the process: we start from real references, fix by hand or in CGI and have your engineering team approve each image before delivery. For manuals and safety documentation we recommend real photos.
How much does AI imagery cost for an industrial company?
Product images start at €20 each and drop with volume, a 30-40 second product video starts at €850 and a video with 3D renders from CAD at €1,200. Full catalogs and trade-fair materials are quoted per project, within 1 working day.
Can we show a machine that hasn't been built yet?
Yes, starting from the CAD. It's useful for launches and trade fairs, as long as the image isn't presented as a photo of a machine that has already been tested.
Do you work with manufacturers outside Italy?
Yes. DigitalX Studio is based in Bergamo, Italy, and works with companies in Italy and abroad. The work runs remotely, with calls and shared reviews at each step.
