CGI product renders

CGI product renders,
where precision matters

A CGI product render rebuilds your product as a 3D model, with exact dimensions, materials and graphics, and renders it in any light and from any angle. We work in Blender and combine 3D with AI: the product in CGI, accurate to the millimeter, placed in scenes and moods generated with AI. It's the right call when AI alone isn't enough.

In short

  • Product modeled in Blender, environments made with AI
  • For exact geometry, packaging, technical products and 360°
  • One model, every variant: colors, finishes, angles
  • AI + 3D/CGI video from €1,200, stills quoted per project
  • We can start from your CAD files, or from photos and measurements

When CGI beats AI

AI models generate images that are plausible, not exact. For many products that's fine: a cream, a soft bag, a garment on a model can be corrected against the real reference. But for some products "nearly right" is simply wrong.

01

Exact geometry

Proportions, thicknesses, joins and part counts that can't drift from one image to the next.

02

Packaging and labels

Legible text and exact graphics, applied as textures on the model. For packs not yet produced see AI packaging mockups.

03

Technical products

Machinery, components, electronics: exploded views, cross-sections, functional details.

04

360° and animation

Full spins, openings, assemblies: motion where the product has to stay identical in every frame.

05

Glass and metal

Controlled reflections, transparency and liquids, where AI tends to improvise.

06

Variants at scale

Colors and finishes swapped on the model, with identical light and framing.

In most projects the answer is the third column: the product in CGI, the world around it with AI. Why product accuracy matters so much is covered in AI images true to product and packaging.

How a 3D product
render comes together

01

Source material

CAD or 3D files if they exist; otherwise photos from several sides, measurements and, ideally, a physical sample.

02

Modeling

We build or clean up the model in Blender and compare it with the real product.

03

Materials and artwork

Surfaces, finishes, colors and artwork applied as textures and checked against the reference.

04

Scene and light

A neutral background for packshots, or AI-generated environments composited around the product.

05

Render and delivery

Stills, 360° spins or video, in every format. One revision round included.

What you can do
with a 3D model

The model is an investment you reuse. The same file gives you white-background packshots for e-commerce, product videos and ads, the impossible installations of FOOH CGI videos and the interactive experiences of 3D websites. When a new color or size arrives, you update the model instead of reshooting.

Prices start at €1,200 for a premium AI video with 3D compositing. Stills depend on product complexity and on whether a model already exists: they're quoted per project, with an estimate within one working day.

When you don't need CGI

For soft and worn products, like garments, textiles and food, CGI is expensive and adds little: AI on real photos or a shoot works better. And if you need a single lifestyle image of a simply shaped product, building a 3D model isn't worth it.

Questions about
CGI product renders

What's the difference between a CGI render and an AI image?

A CGI render comes from a 3D model of the product, so shape, dimensions and graphics are exact. An AI image is generated and has to be checked against the real reference. We often combine them: product in CGI, environment with AI.

Do I need a CAD file for a 3D product render?

It helps, but it isn't required. Without one, we model the product from photos taken from several sides plus measurements, and from a physical sample when possible.

How much does a 3D product render cost?

A premium AI video with 3D compositing starts at €1,200. Stills are quoted per project, because they depend on product complexity and the starting model. Estimate within one working day.

What software do you use for 3D product renders?

We model and render in Blender, generate environments with AI models chosen per scene, and edit video in DaVinci Resolve.

Can you make a 360° product video?

Yes. With a 3D model the product stays identical in every frame, which AI video alone can't guarantee.
