AI packaging mockups

AI packaging mockups,
your product before it exists

AI packaging mockups turn your dieline and artwork into realistic images of the finished pack, before it goes to print. Use them to open pre-orders, launch a crowdfunding campaign or pitch the range to buyers when there's no physical sample yet. Text and labels stay exact: we apply them from your file, we never let the AI invent them.

In short

  • From dieline and artwork to realistic pack images
  • Text and labels exact, applied in CGI or by hand
  • For pre-production e-commerce, crowdfunding and buyers
  • Packshots, lifestyle scenes and the full range of flavors or variants
  • Quoted per project, estimate within 1 working day

What a pre-production
mockup is for

UseWhat you needWhat we deliver
Pre-production e-commerceProduct pages ready on launch dayWhite-background packshots, angles, details
CrowdfundingA credible campaign page with no product in handHero image, in-use scenes, range images
Buyers and retailA range to present to distributors and chainsFull range, pack on shelf, presentation visuals
Design testingChoosing between artwork or color optionsThe same shots for each option, side by side

If you sell before you produce, the images must show what the customer will receive. When the pack changes, we update the mockups. For each platform's image rules, start from AI e-commerce images.

Exact labels,
not invented ones

This is where improvised AI mockups fail. Generative models are poor at small text: ingredients, warnings, barcodes and logos come out garbled or made up. On a pack, that's a mistake a buyer spots immediately.

So the AI never writes the text. We apply your artwork to a 3D model of the pack in CGI, or composite it by hand onto the surface, following curves and perspective. The AI handles light, materials and setting, where it's strongest. The method is explained in AI images true to product and packaging.

AI builds the scene. The text comes from your print file.

How we create
AI packaging mockups

01

Dieline and artwork

The final print file, the dieline with dimensions and your color references.

02

Materials and finishes

Board, glass, plastic or metal; matte, gloss, soft-touch, foil, embossing.

03

Model and artwork

We build the pack in 3D and apply the artwork, checking every line of text.

04

Scenes with AI

Neutral packshots and lifestyle settings that fit your brand.

05

Review and delivery

One revision round included, then every format for e-commerce, social and presentations.

From mockup
to launch campaign

The pack model isn't just for the first images. The same file becomes the star of your product launch video, spins in 360° in CGI product renders and gets updated when new flavors or sizes arrive. Follow-up lifestyle scenes are priced like our AI images, from €20 per image, falling with volume.

When a mockup isn't enough

A mockup isn't a color proof: to sign off print you need a physical proof from your printer. And if the pack already exists and you have it in hand, a packshot of the real sample is simpler and cheaper than a 3D model.

Questions about
AI packaging mockups

What is an AI packaging mockup?

It's a realistic image of the finished pack, created from the dieline and artwork before production. The pack is built in CGI with the exact graphics; light and setting are generated with AI.

Can AI write label text correctly?

Not reliably. That's why we apply the text from your print file, in CGI or by hand, and never let the AI model generate it.

Can I use mockups to sell before production?

Yes, as long as they show exactly what the customer will receive. If the pack changes later, the images need updating. Each platform's and crowdfunding site's rules are for the brand to check.

What do you need to create a packaging mockup?

The final print file, the dieline with dimensions, color references and a note on materials and finishes. A blank sample of the pack, if one exists, helps.

How much does a realistic packaging mockup cost?

It's quoted per project, because it depends on the number of SKUs and how complex the pack is. You get an estimate within one working day.
