AI video for wine
AI wine video,
with the label in its place
We produce AI wine video for wineries that want to tell the story of vineyard, seasons and territory without waiting for harvest or hiring a crew. The bottle stays the real one, checked for label, capsule and wine color, and the story adapts to the markets you sell in. DigitalX Studio is based in Bergamo, Italy, between Franciacorta and Valtellina, and works with brands worldwide.
In short
- Reels, bottle videos, brand films and trade fair videos for wineries and wine brands

- Delivered in 2-3 weeks, with versions for export markets
The problem
Why a wine video
is hard to shoot
Wine runs on a calendar that doesn't move. Harvest lasts a few weeks, fog over the vines doesn't come on request, and winter pruning is months away from the spring trade fair. Telling a year of work with traditional shoots takes several trips, good weather and a budget many wineries can't put into a single video.
With AI the seasons are built in production: budbreak, ripe bunches, red leaves, rows under snow. The winery chooses the story, not the right day to film it.

Fidelity
Bottle, label and wine
true to the real thing
| Element | Typical AI error | How we handle it |
|---|---|---|
| Label | Garbled winery name, invented appellation, wrong vintage | Label applied from the artwork file or a real photo, never generated |
| Bottle and capsule | Different shape, higher shoulder, capsule in the wrong color | Comparison with the real bottle, CGI rebuild when needed |
| Wine color | A rosé turning red, a white too deep in color | Reference of the wine in the glass and color correction |
| Perlage and liquid | Unreal bubbles, pours that defy physics | Unconvincing scenes dropped, liquids in CGI for close-ups |
| Territory | A "generic" vineyard passed off as yours | Scenes based on real photos of the estate when the video names it |
The method is the one we describe in product and packaging fidelity in AI images. For beverages and spirits in general, see AI video for beverage brands; for industry trends, AI in food & beverage.
Responsible advertising
Wine advertising:
what we keep out of the video
Wine is an alcoholic drink and its advertising has clear rules. In the EU, TV and on-demand advertising for alcoholic beverages may not be aimed at minors, link drinking to driving or physical performance, or present it as a route to social or sexual success (source EUR-Lex, Directive 2010/13/EU, Art. 22). Each export market adds its own rules.
We build our videos around these criteria: no characters who look underage, no cars after the toast, no excessive drinking. Final compliance checks in each country remain with the winery or its importer. Where required, we label AI-generated content in line with the EU AI Act.
When AI video isn't the right choice
If the story is the winemaker in person, the family, real hands in the cellar or a documentary on the harvest, you need real footage: that's where the authenticity is. We can blend that footage with AI scenes of seasons and atmosphere, but we won't replace it with invented people presented as your family.
FAQ
Questions about
AI wine video
How much does an AI video for a winery cost?
A 15-20 second AI Reel starts at €500, a 30-40 second video with 8-10 scenes at €850 and a video with a CGI bottle at €1,200. For ongoing content, subscriptions start at €990 per month.
Does the wine label stay legible and correct in an AI video?
Yes, because we don't generate it: we apply it from the artwork file or a photo of the real bottle and check it in every scene where it's visible, appellation and vintage included.
Can AI show a vineyard in every season?
Yes. Budbreak, harvest, autumn and winter are built in production. If the video presents your estate, we start from real photos so we don't show a territory that isn't yours.
Can you make versions of the video for export markets?
Yes: text, voice, formats and scenes adapt to each market from the same project. Alcohol advertising rules differ by country, and the final check remains with the winery.
How long does an AI wine video take?
On average 2-3 weeks from approved brief to delivery, compared with 4-8 weeks for a traditional production that also has to wait for the right season.
