AI eyewear imagery
AI eyewear imagery,
with lenses that look real
Our AI eyewear imagery starts from the real frame and takes it into catalog sets, onto faces of different shapes and into styled campaigns. Lenses, transparency, reflections and proportions are checked against the real glasses before delivery. DigitalX Studio is based in Bergamo, Italy, and works with eyewear brands worldwide.
In short
- Lenses and reflections that match the scene: clear, gradient, mirrored
- Worn on different faces: oval, round, square, heart-shaped
- E-commerce sets: front, three-quarter, side and folded
- From €20 per image, 50 images for €1,490
- Delivered in 5-10 working days
The problem
Why eyewear
trips up AI
Glasses are mostly transparency. The lens has to show the eyes without distorting them, reflect the right scene and keep the color of the gradient. The frame is thin and symmetrical, with hinges and temples that generic AI tends to merge, bend or duplicate.
Then there's the face. People choose glasses by seeing them worn, and the same frame looks very different on a round face and a square one. A shoot with several models for every style is expensive; with AI we can show each frame on several face types under the same light.
What we make
AI eyewear images
for catalogs and campaigns
01
Catalog set
Front, three-quarter, side, folded and hinge detail, on a neutral background. See AI packshot photography.
02
On several faces
The same frame on different face shapes, ages and skin tones, with invented AI models.
03
Colors and lenses
Every frame color and lens option, built from real shots. See AI color variants.
04
Sunglasses campaign
Sea, city, mountains: virtual locations where reflections tell the season.
Checks
What we verify
on every frame
| Element | Typical AI mistake | How we handle it |
|---|---|---|
| Lenses | Distorted eyes, lens color drifting | Tint and gradient compared with the real lens |
| Reflections | Reflections that don't belong to the scene | Reflections rebuilt from the setting's light |
| Frame | Asymmetry, temples merging into hair | Symmetry check and manual fixes |
| Fit | Glasses too big or too small for the face | Proportions from real measurements (lens width, bridge, temple) |
| Temple logo | Unreadable or invented lettering | Logo applied from the original file |
Why product fidelity matters more than the effect is explained in product fidelity in AI images.
Virtual try-on
On-face images
and virtual try-on
On-face photos answer "how does it look on a face like mine?" in a static way. If you want customers to try the frame on their own face, you need a virtual try-on experience: we cover it in AI virtual try-on. The two work well together: curated images for product pages and campaigns, try-on for the final decision.
Is eyewear part of a wider fashion project? Campaigns, lookbooks and on-model images are on our AI fashion agency page, and the luxury context is in AI in fashion and luxury.
When AI isn't the right choice for eyewear
An AI image shows style, it doesn't prove technical features. UV protection, polarisation, anti-reflective coatings or the thickness of a prescription lens must be documented with the manufacturer's data and certifications, not suggested by a picture. And if your frame has a detail you've never photographed, a real shot comes first.
FAQ
Questions about
AI eyewear imagery
How much does AI eyewear photography cost?
From €20 per image, with the price falling as volume grows. The 50-image e-commerce package is €1,490: for example 10 frames with a catalog set and one on-face shot.
Can AI render clear lenses and reflections?
Yes, when it works from real photos of the lens and with human checks. We make sure the eyes behind the lens aren't distorted and that reflections match the scene.
Can you show glasses on different face shapes?
Yes. We show the same frame on oval, round, square or heart-shaped faces, with different ages and skin tones. They are invented models, not real people.
Which angles do eyewear e-commerce photos need?
Usually front, three-quarter, side and folded, plus a hinge or logo detail and at least one on-face shot.
Do AI images replace virtual try-on?
No, they do a different job. Images show the product at its best, while virtual try-on lets customers test it on their own face. Many brands use both.
