Digital avatars for brands

Digital avatars for brands,
one face across every campaign

Digital avatars give a brand a recurring face without booking a shoot every time: an AI model who wears the whole collection, a virtual ambassador who presents your products, a brand character with its own personality, or the digital twin of a real person who has agreed to it. We design the avatar once, write the rules that keep it consistent, and use it in campaigns, e-commerce, social and video.

In short

  • Custom AI models and digital avatars built around your brand
  • Digital twins of ambassadors or staff, with written consent only
  • Consistent across campaigns, e-commerce, social and video
  • The same face in several languages and markets
  • Image rights and EU AI Act handled from day one

What is a digital avatar?

A digital avatar for a brand is a character created with AI that becomes the recurring face of its communication. It can be an AI model who wears the collection, a virtual ambassador who presents products, or a digital replica of a real person who has authorized the use of their image.

What separates an avatar from a one-off AI image is consistency: the same face, the same proportions, the same style in every piece of content, season after season. That consistency is the hard part, and it's what we design for. For a deeper read, see our guide digital avatars for brands: the marketing guide.

An avatar is not an image. It's a recurring identity with rules.

Digital avatars in fashion

Fashion is where digital avatars earn their keep fastest. A brand that shoots every drop, every colorway and every market faces the same costs again and again: casting, studio, styling, retouching. A fashion avatar can wear the full collection with the same face and body from lookbook to product page, and appear in new settings without a new production.

The garment still has to be the real one. We work from your product photos and check fit, fabric, color and details in every image, and fix by hand what the AI gets wrong. We cover the topic in more depth in digital avatars and virtual fashion models; for production at catalog scale see AI fashion catalogs.

How to brand an avatar

Branding an avatar means deciding who it is before deciding what it looks like. We build it in five steps and hand you a short avatar guide, so every future production starts from the same rules.

01

Identity

Who the avatar is, who it speaks to and what it stands for, derived from your brand positioning.

02

Look

Face, build, age range, hair and expression, explored in options until one is approved.

03

Style rules

Wardrobe, light, framing, palette and settings that make every image feel like your brand.

04

Voice and behavior

For video and social: tone of voice, how it moves and what it never says or does.

05

Usage rules

Channels, disclosure wording and limits, written down in the avatar guide.

Image rights and the EU AI Act

Every avatar starts with clear rules. No resemblance to real people without their consent. Written agreements for digital twins, covering uses, duration, territories and withdrawal. And transparency on AI-generated content: Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires realistic AI-generated or manipulated images, audio and video of people to be disclosed, with the transparency obligations applying from 2 August 2026 (source: EUR-Lex). We cover the details in AI and image rights for virtual models.

When an avatar isn't the right choice

If the value of the content is the real person (a founder, an athlete, an authentic customer story), an avatar can't replace them. In those cases we recommend a traditional shoot, or a mix of real footage and AI.

Questions about
digital avatars for brands

What is a digital avatar for a brand?

It's a face or character created with AI that represents the brand in its content: a consistent AI model across campaigns, a virtual ambassador, or the digital twin of a real person who has given consent.

How are digital avatars used in fashion?

Mainly as AI models who wear the collection with the same face in lookbooks, campaigns and product pages, and in reels and social content. The garments are always checked against the real product.

How do you brand an avatar?

Start from identity, not looks: who the avatar is and who it speaks to. Then define the look, style rules, voice and usage rules, and write them in an avatar guide that every production follows.

Can you create a digital twin of our employee or ambassador?

Yes, only with the person's written consent and a clear agreement on uses, duration and territories. That agreement is the starting point of every digital twin project.

How much does a custom digital avatar cost?

It's quoted per project, depending on how complex the identity is and in how many contexts it has to work. You get an estimate within one working day, and once approved the avatar is reused in every new production.
